Acne
Total Wellness Centre offers acne treatments using traditional Chinese methodologies (TCM). Working together with derma health and laser clinic, we design a personal course of treatment that targets the underlying cause of acne using TCM, while dealing with the highly visible but superficial symptoms that make up this disorder using esthetic techniques such as microdermabrasion and natural peels.

Acne and other skin disorders often begin at or around puberty, but sometimes they do not begin until much later in life; adult onset acne. We have had tremendous success in treating both adolescent acne and adult onset acne and related disorders using our combination treatments of TCM and western esthetics.

Psoriasis/Eczema
TCM is an effective treatment option for those who have either Psoriasis or Eczema. Acupuncture, herbs, and nutritional counselling may be offered for these disorders. Western doctors often prescribe harsh creams such as steroids or solar treatments which can further damage the skin and in fact have systemic side effects.
